1 small chicken cut into pieces
2 carrots cut to 4
1 onion dry chopped
3-4 cups of brown barley (1 cup per person)
Lemon juice (optional)
Wash and clean the chicken well. Put it in the saucepan along with carrots and onion and add water as much as we want for our soup. Salt, pour a little olive oil and let it boil over low heat for 35-45 minutes. Half of the boil add the barley and let them boil all together. In the serving add the pepper and if you want the lemon.
