1 kilo of pears
2 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
1 cinnamon stick
We clean the pears and cut them in the middle or at 4 if they are big and clean the pips.
Put the water and sugar in the pot and boil the sugar just a little bit.
When the sugar melts, add the pears and cinnamon and boil until they soften, not melting to the tooth.
If all of them do not fit in the pot, do them in 2 doses.
When they are ready, put them in a bowl of syrup, let them cool and put them in the refrigerator.
The refrigerator is kept for 1-2 weeks.
If we want to keep them longer, put them in jars very well sterilized along with the hot syrup and close them well.
In a deep pot, we put a cloth clean and top up the jars upside down.
Cover them with water and boil for 15-20 minutes.
Finally we turn off the fire, let the jars cool down, when we can catch them, tighten the lids well, and put them in a refrigerator or in a cool place.
This keeps 2-3 months maybe more.
