1/2 liter cognac or tsipouro or vodka
3 cups of watermelon juice well filtered
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 stranded clown
1 slice of lemon
Cut the red of half a watermelon, cut pieces, put it in the strainer, and squeeze it with a hand in a bowl.
Then strain it with a tumbling.
We measure 3 cups of watermelon juice and put them in the pot.
Add the sugar, the lemon slice, and the lard.
Boil them all together for 5 minutes and turn off the fire.
Cover the pot, and the next morning we add the cognac and mix.
Put it in glass sterilized bottles and leave it for 7 days to mature.
Our liqueur is ready to enjoy it simply cool, or with grated ice.
